SARAJEVO HALF MARATHON & SECURITAS FUN RUN 4K; 16. 09. 2012 AT 9:00; BBI CENTER

This year the Ngo Marathon Sarajevo will organize 6th Sarajevo half marathon for which runners from over 20 countries have expressed their interest to participate.

The race will cross the most beautiful parts of the city leading runners through worldwide famous cultural and historic heritage that brought Sarajevo to the Lonely Planet Top 10 places to visit in the world in 2010.

Besides the half marathon, and in the same time,`4K FUN RUN will take place and it will double the number of guests and participants making the 2012 attendance the record year.

4K FUN RUN is a strategically important race for health and sport. Since it doesn't require a long preparation, it will enable greater number of participants to attend the   most massive sport event in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

As usually, these two races will mark the International Car Free day and contribute to protect the environment and to raise the ecological awareness

Humanitarian aspect is also very important since our races will be used to collect and provide financial assistance to help persons with reduced capacities.
