The Sarajevo Half Marathon was developed through an initiative of the founders of the Association “Marathon” Sarajevo who above all had the wish to share with everyone the opportunity to enhance their physical and mental health.
Quickly, thanks to the support of cities authorities, partners, athletic clubs and sponsors, the Sarajevo Half Marathon become the most significant sport event in Sarajevo and it is on its way to become a recognized and a well known marathon all around the world.
